To have and to hold...

Gilrs Aloud - Chemistry
Cloudland Blue Quartet – The Acoustic Ersatzreal
Sparks – Hello Young Lovers
The Tubes – Young and Rich

Up early again, around 6 am, and updating stuff on the net...

Pam was up at 8 and Anne shortly thereafter – Pam wanted to watch the backstage footage from the Tubes DVD from last night – Anne made breakfast and I copied Girls Aloud’s “Chemistry” and Pet Shop Boys’ “Fundamental” for my wee sister...

At 10 I drove Pam to the airport – she gave the thumbs up to three new CBQ songs, “Another Piece of Cake”, “He Thinks Of You” and “No Concrete Idea”..

She’ll be back up at Christmas...

Back home we got ready for Martin (IT guru extraodinaire and builder of our PC) and Michelle’s wedding today...

Before heading off, I had a quick run through the September CBQ set – I’ll be playing Edinburgh on 18 and 21 September and St Andrews on 19 September...

A bit of a tired and bored run through, if I’m honest...

The wedding was a romantic affair with plenty of Scottishness about it. Martin and Michelle are a lovely couple and the best man’s speech brought a tear to more than one eye in the room...

The meal was very tasty indeed and followed by an unscheduled Fire Alarm – which gave Michelle the opportunity to be photographed with some firemen – women eh?

In the evening we were joined by some more friends and had a good night of it – although I wasn’t drinking and only danced once due to the ankle still being a bit iffy – of course my dancing style was the “your dad at a wedding” style (even though I am no-one's dad)...

Highlight of the Day : Martin & Michelle’s wedding
