How do you get to listen to these podcasts?
1) E-mail crispycat@hotmail.com and ask for the episode you want. It's as simple as that! You'll be sent a WeTransfer link at which you can download the MP3 to listen to at your leisure, absolutely free...
OR
2) If you'd like to support the production of the podcasts (each takes around 3 times it's length to produce, not to mention all the listening and curation that takes place)...
click on this Cloudland Blue Paypal Link
...to give as much (or as little!) as you wish, mentioning the episode you want.
Again, you'll be sent a WeTransfer link at which you can download the MP3 to listen to at your leisure BUT, in addition, the Download Bundle will include all the individual MP3s of the featured tracks!
Keep them all to listen to whenever you want, or just keep the tracks you like and delete the rest.
You become The Curator, able to grow your very own Eclectic Selection!
About the Cloudland Blue Eclectic Selection
In a one-man crusade to encourage the world to broaden its musical horizons, David Reilly (aka Cloudland Blue Quartet) has been broadcasting a weekly Eclectic Selection of music from across his vast record collection since 2013...
Every week a new show is produced...
It usually lasts for 2 hours or more and will contain 30 or so tracks, delving into Rock, Jazz, Classical, Ambient, Leftfield, Prog, Songwriters, Electronic, Funk, Soul, Reggae and anything and everything in-between...
On each programme, you'll most likely hear music you've never heard before and it may well be right alongside ultra-familiar stuff. You might find far out jazz nestling next to the latest pop; tuneless contemporary classical music next to classic funk; prog rock followed by a string quartet or Northern Soul; long tracks, short tracks, anything and everything...
The theme of these shows is that there's no theme - other than you can never be sure of what might be coming next, so embrace the juxtaposition!
Starting from now, the site contains details of the 10 latest episodes from 2023 and some of the earliest from 2014..
In all, over 600 shows are being added as quickly as possible, from 2014 forwards and 2023 backwards, with all shows and the individual featured tracks being made available directly to listeners via MP3 download bundles...
