Unappreciation can occasionally hit home....

Sunday...

(a post script to my moaning below - according to my stats on Bandcamp, people have never listened to my music as much as they are doing now, numbers of sales of my music have never been higher, revenues are at a high too, even although people are generally paying around 50% of what they did five years ago...  So I should not be complaining, even though I am LOL)

"Uncle Dave, Uncle Dave, Uncle Dave..."

"Come on Uncle Dave!"

OK...

"The biscuits are in here"...

Cat fed, dishes done...

Into the day...

To redoing the mixes for "Evening Star"...

Done, dusted...

I hope anyway, but will need a re-listen with fresh ears...

Other things that took up my time today...

Sorting playlists on Apple Music re recent acquisitions...

Compiling this week's podcast...

Watching the last two episodes of "SAS Rogue Heroes"...

Meanwhile, Luna seemed to be coveting the birds' Fat Balls, though I'm sure she wasn't really...

Listened to the whole of "Starlightnight", my 2012 song-based LP - triggered by looking at all the 16 March entries on here and noting that, on this day in 2012, I wrote the lyrics for the opening song on the LP...

Posted said song to Blue Sky...

850 "followers"...

1 listen...

...and that not even to the full song...

Jeez oh...

The LP is amazingly good, if I say so myself...

Recalling the months and months of work that went into it (as was the case with the, also brilliant, "Sparklemusik"), made me realise why I'm so slapdash/couldn't give a fuck now, doing LPs easily, every month, like there's no tomorrow...

It's because, at the end of the day, no-one else gives a fuck either, so what's the point spending months on a project when spending a day gets it done?

Mind you, "Starlightnight" did raise over £1,000 for MacMillan, so...

Anyway, hey ho...

Some football watched, Newcastle United winning a trophy for the first time in a long time, beating Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley in the League Cup Final...

Chum Luke was ecstatic...

Spent some time with the wonky Apple Devices software, ensuring all 75 of my LPs of the Day for 2025 thus far were on the iPhone and nothing else was, apart from my 2025 podcasts...

That was a pfaff...

Some listening thereto ensued, to which, of course, I nodded off...

And so, reasonably early to bed a the end of a, mostly, frustrating day...

Highlight of the Day : Starlightnight....
