What's this?
It's Luna of course, wanting her 1st breakfast of the day (she gets two!)...
It wasn't even 7 o'clock yet...
Come on then...
She'll be going home tomorrow night and will be much missed...
Anne was off to Zumba - I continued with the "Play Every CD" thing and rearranged the Classical box sets, adding a little storage to the wall...
At lunch time, we started a new thing, the Belgian thriller, "Undercover" but decided it's too dark for us - reminiscent of the worst/nastiest bits of "Breaking Bad"...
Out for a walk...
Spotted this wee chum...
Meanwhile, in Penicuik, poor wee Maisie was "done" yesterday...
The walk back with a Peppermint Aero and a Peanut Butter Kit-Kat and a TV paper for our troubles...
Two episodes of "The Bay"'s new series enjoyed, despite a lot of moaning and nitpicking from your correspondent and his Exec Producer...
Post this, a chance post on the Blue Sky led me to rediscover the band Dark Star...
I bought their debut LP 26 years ago...
Mainly for the Tom Phillips sleeve and the fact they were signed to Harvest...
But the music on here is superb...
...and led me to seek out all the extra tracks released on the accompanying singles and, indeed, the unreleased 2nd LP, "...out flew reason", shelved when they were unceremoniously dropped, but which made its way to Bandcamp in 2023...
Meanwhile, Anne was concocting a lovely tea...
...to which I just had to add some beans...
This evening, not much on the TV so, post a Michael Portillo in Norway and Denmark (and finding out that the Lur in Lurpak is a big brass horn), I listened to music upstairs...
Looking at all the 19 Marches on here I was reminded of two sad anniversaries today...
In 2012, as we were in Skipton on the way to clear sister Pam's house in Hemel Hempstead, we learned that drummer/bassist Keith's wife Angie had passed away...
And, 11 years ago tonight, was my last rehearsal with Jamie - over two hours of top notch fun with him and nephew Andy...
Jamie died two days later, completely out of the blue...

Dark Star: A film, a Grateful Dead tune and a band - hadn't heard of them.
Love that film - mind you, if I watched it again now, I might not. Best line? "Idiot"
