The pain kicks in...

Playlist

It was just before 6...

And the last day of February...

The view from the office this morning...

I'd worked through the heel pain yesterday at the gym and got to the point where I was walking kind of normally...

But, last night, the pain really kicked in again...

So, up early this morning as I just couldn't sleep...

First World problems I know but, owyah!

Scenes...

Luna seen to...

...and some measure of work done...

End of the month...

A new can in the kitchen...

Scrambled egg breakfast...

..and the next CD Box...

No 49, from Saxton to Schoenberg...

The sextet version of Verkaerte Nacht - plus a string trio...

Pretty sure this is a re-issue...

...in DG's 20th Century series...

Enjoyed it second last thing this evening...

While Anne was out at her mum's, I switched the back room round a bit...

...and researched and installed a new sound card driver in the laptop...

Better but still not flawless...

I hate computers...

Then, Anne was off to see Hearts beat Aberdeen 1-0. Meanwhile, Queens went down at home for the second week running, this time to Peterhead, the team directly below them, 2-0, clinging on to the last play off place but need to turn their recent form around somehow...

A squirrel...

..was joined by a magpie at the feeding station..

...while I enjoyed the latest Paul McCartney documentary - his music in the 70's...

I was a big fan of Wings in the early to mid 70s. "Silly Love Songs" was possibly their last good thing. By then they were more successful than the Beatles. But then Lennon was murdered and the Beatles PR machine kicked in. Now the Mop Tops are, of course, unassailable.

The film was ok...

Anne arrived home, triumphant and prepped a top dish of tasty pasta, accompanied by a Chilean Pinot Noir...

"Father Brown", "Death in Paradise", football highlights, Schoenberg and a "Chicago PD", took us to bedtime...

At which point the pain was kicking in badly again...

I messaged the guys to advise I might not make tomorrow's rehearsal..

Highlight of the Day: Any time where the pain receded a little...
