Didn't realise the new Laura Pausini LP was out today...
Downloaded with a hope of getting a CD at some point...
We pulled the trigger on tickets for her London show at the Albert Hall - I thought it was October this year but it's 2027!
Only a few places left - £100 for the cheapest...
Extortionate...
We'll be right up the back - behind 1,000s of Italians...
Meanwhile...
Today's listening comprised just 6 Items:
The only new thing (of many) I listened to was the Laura Pausini
Crimso - chosen by a chum on Blue Sky for #CDFriday
Eloy - post a mention on BlueSky
New CBQ obvs
And another CBQ sold today on Bandcamp
Eclectic!
Friday the 6th...
Scenes...
A better rising time - given there were things to be done (there always are things to be done - mostly completely pointless)...
New LP out at 8am and did well...
Today's CD Box was No 30, from Janacek - Kertsman...
Chose a single disc of Janacek's piano music, played by Mr Andsnes, from 1991...
I seem to recall basing a track on my 2010 song-based album "Splinterheart" on a piece from this CD..
Anyway, very enjoyable...
When I listened to it yesterday...
Also this morning, my 5 favourite Debut LPs from 1960-1959 (for today, anyway)...
1 The Velvet Underground/The Velvet Underground & Nico
2 King Crimson/In the Court of the Crimson King
3 Francoise Hardy/Francoise Hardy I
4 John McLaughlin/Extrapolation
5 Chicago/Chicago Transit Authority
To Callander House...
Last visited with Jorg & Manu when they were over from Germany in 2024...
Ian Sclater's Art Mag had drawn my attention to a couple of exhibitions here...
Firstly...
Some surprisingly good work from late year school kids from around the region...
I think Evie Hope was my favourite...
To the tearoom for lunch...
A very good soup and sandwich combo for me and sandwiches and coffee for Annie...
...before heading further upstairs for this...
I felt the diptychs and triptychs would have been more effective if split into 2s/3s...
But what do I know...
We both agreed on this as our favourite...
Out and drove straight home rather than wandering around Falkirk - it was freezing and maybe another day...
Fang popped by...

Very briefly...
Chicke, potatoes (superb mashed potatoes) and peas for tea...
As mentioned above, my pick for CD Friday was chosen by a Blue Sky cum after I asked peopel to pick a box number and CD number...
Box No 277, CD No 18 is King Crimson’s superb 3CD live set from 2000, “Heavy ConstruKction”...
Can’t believe it’s 26 years since this was released…
As ever, work on getting this up to date and too much TV...
Late on, managed to download all the source LPs re the new Laura...
Bed at midnight, of course...
Highlight of the Day : Laura Pausini Tickets Secured...
