A casserole and some new listening modus operandi...

Playlist

Here we go again...

I eschewed the laptop for music for the whole day today, sickened as I am by the faulty sound...

Which meant that, to write this and add the playlist above, was a bit of a drawn out affair - I need to see what was played on the mobile unit and recall any CDs played and then, on the laptop (Apple Music) compile yesterday's playlist, one by one...

1st world problems of course...

The view from the office this morning...

Who's in there?

Aha...

Downstairs for Luna's first feed of the day...

I took her food to the bottom of the stairs...

...to try and avoid any throwing up on the rugs...

Later I found she'd managed to access the living room and dining room but, luckily, had not decided to puke anything up...

As Anne and I subsequently breakfasted, a delivery arrived, well ahead of it's expected afternoon delivery...

I left it being loaded up with the first batch of over 1,500 albums I plan to have in the mobile unit...

Anne to Zumba, me to the gym...

Then, to the village and the Hospice shop...

...and LIDL for some of their lovely bread...

Three things purchased for £8...

An 8CD box of love songs, 100 Paintings looked after by the National Trust and a big book of 1,001 inventions which changed the world - which I read through for an hour or so whilst listening to CD 1 of the box...

Some of the invention timings were surprising - and the exclusion of the invention of the CD was also a surprise - especially as DATs, MiniDiscs and music industry destroying (for artists anyway) MP3s were included...

Hmmm...

At lunchtime (home made soup and lovely bread) and throughout the afternoon (1 - 4pm) we finished off "How to Get to Heaven from Belfast"...

Accompanied by Luna's whisker...

The SD Card was finally done and I got the chance to listen to my self-made MP3 version of Edward Spark's latest mix of his two new pieces...

Impressive...

My own cover by the way...

Also, after having listened today to the last two CD Box choices, I chose the next CD from the next CD Box, No 47, from Rameau to Renie...

Again decided on some contemporary compositions...

Torsten Rasch's orchestral/operatic take on the music of Rammstein...

Already 23 years old though...

Interesting and, really, nothing at all like Rammstein...

Post that, I left the office behind...

...and enjoyed the newly filled, with double previous capacity, mobile unit, on shuffleplay, downstairs...

...while Anne created an excellent lamb casserole and mash...

Music listening was interspersed with some "Chicago PD", some football highlights and, to close off the day, the first "Bones" for a while...

Luna was enjoying herself...

Lights out at midnight...

Highlight of the Day: Anne's casserole and the "new" listening...
