Took Anne along to PickleBall for her 9am start, then, back home to sort a few last minute things for today's rehearsal...
At 10, the car was loaded and I was off out to Roslin, soundtracked by my songs from "Broken"...
Today was our first playing for a month but, unfortunately, Johnny B could not make it - so, me, Keith and Johnny W played as a trio - as we were way back in 2017, before Stu Cobley joined us...
A run through our 9 song set - then, a run through with between song announcements and a 10th song added, just in case, then, coffee, biscuits and a long chat, mostly all of our histories...
It turns out that while me and Malcolm, Breave, Nick and Spooky were rehearsing at the Inch, back in 1988/9 as Call Me Clive, Johnny W was rehearsing there too with his band...
Small world...
After a final run through, at 2:30 or so, packed up and the drive home, stopping off at Lidl for bread...
Home and keeping an eye on the football scores...
Bottom club Livingston were beating The Rangers 2-0 until a red card with 30 minutes still to go...
Eventually, Scotland's newest club managed to get back to 2-2 and, of course, 9 minutes of injury time were added, which stretched to 12...
A VAR check re a possible penalty for the men from Castle Greyskull proved surprisingly fruitless, amazingly and Livi held on for the draw...
Meanwhile, in Glasgow, Celtic went down 2-1 to Hibs...
Both great results for Hearts - so the mood in Crispycat Towers was good...
In the Ice Hockey, however, disaster, as Canada, who had been the better side in normal time, lost out to the USA in overtime for the Olympic gold...
Oh well, just as well it's only a game...
Then, just after five, the Return of Luna once again - as Gillian & Olly are jetting off to Florida with Gillian's mum and dad...
Luna was soon settled in...
A tasty tea...
...and the first three of the 4th season of "The Lincoln Lawyer" were enjoyed, while Luna snoozed...
Last thing, working on the sessions from today...
..which were sent out to the band just before midnight and accompanied me into the land of Nod...
