Around 10:30, out and took Anne along to visit her mum...
Then, down to Curry's with the laptop, post long WhatsApp convos with Ed Spark yesterday re possible causes and solutions to the ongoing hugely annoying interference with my music listening...
The man took a look...
I played him a recording of what was happening and explained no crackles if I was offline...
He reckoned that as it only happens when online it's most likely a software not hardware problem...
He took a look in the gubbins checking CPU memory etc...
Then he said he'd uninstall all the relevant drivers and that, on restart Windows would reinstall and give it a clean position to start from...
Which is what happened...
But he wasn't connected to the net when this took place so I imagine exactly the same drivers were reinstalled...
He said to check it at home and, if the problem persisted, to bring it back and they'd "book it in" - which obviously would mean no laptop for what might be some length of time...
Meanwhile Anne's mum was away on a bus trip, so she walked down to meet me and we drove home...
I reset up the computer and, guess what...
Yep...
The problem remained...
Luna was unperturbed...
Another three episodes of "The Lincoln Lawyer" started at lunchtime, with home made soup and a sandwich...
Then, Anne was off to Pilates and it was time to do the podcast...
A listen back while Baked Potatoes baked...
Luna was looking for food, as always...
We binged the final four episodes of "The Lincoln Lawyer", so, all ten since yesterday...

As your i ssue only happens when online - assume you've tried both wirelessly and a direct ethernet connection to your router? Chances are you have but if not, worth a try. Maybe even a 'rogue' windows update - has been known to bugger up a system - to use a techie term.
