Well...
Up and no further storm damage - although, later this morning, sister Sheila would report the fence at our mum's house is down...
Writing this and doing other stuff, which, 24 hours later, I can no longer recall...
Ah, I was up later than usual...
And, it was the weekend...
I was once again unable to reach the roofer...
I compiled the 10 CDs which will grace the podcast I'll record on Monday and upload on Tuesday...
This week, I used the random number generator to select pages in the "Red Books of CDs I Own" and chose a selection from each of 10 pages, according to this grid...

This is how I waste my time...
Post home made soup for lunch, with a crusty roll, enjoyed this, whilst snoozing/reading my new Donald Hall book...
At 2:10, it was off out over to Tynecastle for today's match with Kilmarnock...
Off we went...
Hearts went one up early on...
...then had a goal chalked off for offside, checked and verified via VAR, before Killie equalised, much to the crowd's anger and disgust...
1-1 at half time...
In the second half, Hearts went 3-1 up with two goals in quick succession...
...before Killie pulled another one back, leading to a fraught remainder of the game, with the JTs under the cosh for much of it...
Eventually though, they ran out 3-2 winners - it could have been 5 or 6-2 or 6-4 but, based on chances, Hearts were always going to win...
It was absolutely Baltic...
Entertainment was also provided by fans in the vicinity who obviously did not actually know the rules of the game and those, in particular, who would stand up and remonstrate with the referee, despite him being half a mile away and their being completely outwith his line of sight...
Football eh?
Once outside the ground and able to get a connection, I found that Queens had won 3-1 at home to bottom club Dumbarton and are now 2nd equal in the table, although they have played more games than those around them...
According to the stats (checked tonight at home), Hearts are joint best form team in the premiership while Queens are top in League 1...
But, while Queens' home record is unsurpassed in League 1...
Picked up an unpictured takeaway from Wong's on the way home...
Michael McIntyre's Big Show and the highlights of today's games were enjoyed...
Then, more Miles Davis via Bill Laswell soundtracked much filing, re the recent CD intake...
...before another episode of the not very good really but it passes the time "North Shore"...
Ended the day with more compilation sampling...
Tonight, 12 Classical discs...
...featuring these works...

...before hitting the sack with one of the recent ambient comps for LA...
