Morning, Thursday morning...
Not too early, really...
More work this morning on the upcoming release with Pedantic Pedestrian and some listening to and thinking about the just re-jigged and added to Capital Models 132 song set...
At midday, out and down the hill - weather not as nice as it was last week when we visited Bobby's mum...
Off at Shandwick Place and a quick browse in Fopp...
Nothing purchased...
Round to the old office for a meet up and lunch with chum Christine...
Over to La P'tite Folie for the trio...
Top notch lunch ensued...
Steamed Shetland Mussels with Shallots and White Wine Cream for me (as ever!)...
...Pan-Seared King Prawns, Red Chilli, Garlic and Dill Sauce with Crusty Sourdough for Anne and Deep-Fried Camembert, Tomato and Lime Salsa and Rocket Leaves for Christine...
...accompanied by a bottle of Cab Sauv...
Mains - Anne and I both opted for the delicious Chicken & Toulouse Sausage Basquaise (a tomato & red pepper stew), with Roast Potatoes...
...while Christine enjoyed the Pan-Fried Grey Sole Fillets in a Parmesan and Caper Cream, with Dill, Pomme Puree and Greens...
Yowsah!...
No room (yet) for desserts...
After two hours around the table, Christine returned to the office and Anne and I took a leisurely walk up to the Cameo Cinema Bar, where coffee and cake were enjoyed...
...before we set off down towards Haymarket for the bus home...
...intrigued by this building in Gardiner's Crescent...
Rosemount Buildings - history here...
This spotted too, over the West Approach Road - not sure where this rather large Air Con unit might serve...
Deciding on another stop off, we ventured into Thomson's Bar, filled with old men (including, now, me) plus Anne...
G&T and Weissbier ordered...
A visit to Crispycat Towers from John and Ali Impossible arranged as we sat in this old time bar...
Eventually, down to Haymarket and a No 26 to the terminus...
...and a walk down the hill...
As we approached the house, this on our phones, with noise blaring...
In and, with no need of tea, to listening to tracks from 20 different compilations from the collection of compilations...
Artists enjoyed were:-

Top times...
Downstairs for coffee...
Not even the weekend yet...
The last two of "On Call" very much enjoyed - we hope it will return...
And tonight's "Patience" enjoyed "live" - and I did not fall asleep, which was a boon!
Upstairs again just after 10...
Correspondence with chum Gaz - I will purchase his son's iPhone 13 from him next week...
Looks in good nick...
Sadly, I'm advised the lemon drizzle cake will not be part of the deal...
Just before bed and just after midnight, some new releases downloaded...
Which soundtracked my drift off into the land of nod...
A good day...
Highlight of the Day : Long leisurely lunch and aftermath thereof... And sampling compilations...
