Quite dark when I got up...

First thing, writing up the sleeve notes, credits etc for the collaborational LP with Edward Spark, due 9 January, his birthday...

Added some text too, to the cover...

Also this morning, the Frippertronics transfer commenced in earnest - turned out I did not need to wait for the arrival of the wee extension ordered the other day, I could just unplug my larger screen and attach it straight in to the BluRay player, with no problems...

I left it running and we watched the documentary on "Vera" and its coming to an end...

Some Herman Van Veen and Explosions in the Sky holes were filled - along with the LP by "Snail Mail", from which, it turns out, one of Edward Spark's tracks on "The Great Carving" is stolen, wholesale...

Credits on Bandcamp duly amended in reflection of this...

Around 2:15, out...

...and down the hill for the bus into town, where we met up with Lynn and Ross at new to us place, "Old Pal", at which, it turns out, our neighbour, Fabio the Motorbike Man, works...

Just after 5, post some convivial drinking and chatting, a short walk to the Omar Khayyam, historically, one of our fave Indian Restaurants - indeed the one at which I took the decision to become vegetarian, a decision to which I stuck for some 16 years from 1989 to 2005...

Although we didn't quite recognise him at first, we soon got chatting to owner Mohammed Riasat, who has run the place for 43 years...

The food was as good as we'd remembered - it's been too long since we were last here - December 2020 I think, for the Reptile Xmas Night (OK, Afternoon) Out that year...

Yowsah!

Post more carousing, another short walk up Morrison St, took us to The Hebrides where more drinks and chat...

...and covers from a nice young man, were enjoyed more than the pic below conveys...

Around 9, a bus home for us, the tram for Lynn and Ross...

The new lead for the BluRay awaited...

In and two episodes of Bosch enjoyed - two left of Season Five...

To bed just before midnight...

A good day...

Highlight of the Day : Out with Lynn & Ross...
