OK, what did I do today?

Continued to listen to my cover versions due out in 2025 and 2026...

Added last night's final two pieces from PP to the project and rejigged the cover and shuffled my pipeline to give it a March release date...

A couple of wee edits too to a couple of the pieces...

Done, I think...

Breakfast - porridge, banana and  a smidgeon of honey and maple syrup...

Edited four of the songs we did on Sunday to remove glaring errors - mind you, it was only the second time we'd played them...

Updated the "Repertoire" release on the Capital Models page, re-ordering the first 42 tracks to reflect the setlists we will play in March and added in the ten new songs from the original canon from Sunday - and made all the tracks downloadable, leaving no bonuses - a real 7hrs 40mins warts'n'all collection of the band over the last 8 years...

IEpisodes 5 & 6 of "On Call" enjoyed at lucnhtime...

Then, Anne was off out to dentist/mum...

Keith Apter popped by at 2 and we spent a couple of hours working out the bass lines Jamie played on the original Capital Models recordings...

A coffee and a chat and then he was off, just before Anne arrived back...

Good work...

Looking through my Bandcamp collection, I noted my first ever purchase was an EP by Newcastle trio, Shiver - I sought them out and found three more EPS and four more releases related to the, it would seem, now defunct band...

Tasty,,,

This evening, a late call in to the squad for my first MB Fives game since we stopped playing outside, so, probably, early September...

I wasn't looking forward to it...

Five minutes spent outfield making various horrendous errors, unable to direct the ball with any skill and very, very slow compared to the other players, all in their 20s or 30s...

And so, into goals I went - and I played well - even, at one point, actually diving onto the ground to tip an, admittedly, very slow moving but heading for the net shot on to the post...

Craig Gordon-esque...

We won by 6...

Home for a salmon based tea at 8:30...

"Granchester" introduced its third vicar - struggling as it did to explain why a vicar would ever be anywhere near interviewing murder suspects etc...

Oh well, still enjoyable...

Ended the day with "Patience" - during which I dropped off a couple of times and missed very important pieces of information...

Oh well, still enjoyable...

To bed at midnight...

Highlight of the Day : Back to the football, Bass working out...
