...and, looking through this, played a track created 4 years ago today...

Ah, yes, 1 person - out of my, now, 750 "followers" on BlueSky...

Anyway...

Also, while perusing this here diary re things happening "on this day", my painting and that of the hare, went up on the dining room wall 11 years ago yesterday...

Hardly anything changes...

Except us...

Breakfast...

Then decided to, not only post my LP of the Day but also, now, an old LP of the Day...

So wasted some time bringing that project up to date for the last 13 days...

Two episodes of "Bosch", some home made soup and some chicken and peas for lunch...

In the afternoon, started the transfer of various Mini Discs from the attic to the hard drives...

Crazy Wisdom up first...

The five generations of the LP we did back in 1997/98, each one building in a new aspect of the final version...

It's how I recorded back then...

I also brought these spindles of CDs and DVDs down to peruse - I think I may have found the elusive Ian Sclater recordings he occasionally asks me about...

A lot of sorting out though...

I spent some time creating 4 stand alone LPs of Crazy Wisdom material, sourced from "The Reptile Tapes", an all encompassing 4CD collection compiled for Malcolm's birthday I think - anyway, back around 2002 perhaps?

I can't recall...

I determined all the tracks which don't appear anywhere else than on this set and divided into four time frames...

When we rehearsed, I'd record the session to Mini Disc but, sadly, then, due to the cost of Mini Discs and no facility at that point to transfer to CD or hard drive, I copied them to cassette...

And so, that's the source, which is, sonically, slightly disappointing...

However, using my mastering software I was able to inject some much needed pizzazz into proceedings, although, of course, it's far from ideal...

Loads of songs I'd kind of forgotten about struck me as being very good indeed...

New stuff in the Dropbox from Prog Rock Willie...

Baked potatoes and 135 at "University Challenge" - Imperial thrashing Walham Oxford (or, possibly, Cambridge) by 345 to 25 or something ludicrous..

Then, four more "Bosch" and back to the machines to transfer the Crazy Wisdom stuff for overnight listening...

That was it...
