Prepped the JVC TV for the, according to Amazon, imminent arrival of the Panasonic TV...

It worked upstairs - indeed it worked when attached to the laptop as rather a huge 2nd screen - but I didn't trust it not to burn my eyes out if I spend too much time a foot away from it...

Anyway, back in its place for now - Amazon delivery did not materialise before I needed to leave to meet up with Prog Rock Willie at Haymarket for pre, pre drink, drinks...

I was convinced a guy in the bar was my old school classmate Kevin Hill...

Funnily enough, it turned out to be his Doppelganger...

Willie off to get a haircut, me to the STanding Order for pre drink, drinks with Wendy...

..and Bernie - his first this year having been "dry" all month so far...

Then, to Buck's Bar on Hanover St, a newly shorn Wilhelm returning...

A night out with Willie, Wendy, Bernie, Gary, Janine, Christine and Yuill...

The food, while looking a bit messy, was delicious...

Post meal and further drinks at the bar, two the Boston, a few doors away for a couple more...

Back home to try and set it up...

Out to the Gyle to the O2 shop for assistance - received and some nice things purchased for lunch and for tea...

Home again...

Afternoon spent working on the phone scenario...

New phone, 128GB storage, less than the 256GB on my old one. Accordingly, had to delete all music from the old phone to be able to set the new phone up based on the old phone’s settings. Deletion took around one minute. Post new phone set up, started to refill old one at 3 pm. Still working on it at 11pm…

At teatime...

Much quicker prep time than the chili but the same scoff time...

And the rest of the evening very much spent on the phones...
