She is in the infirmary, with only a few days at most to live...

Her arteries in her legs are completely blocked and there is nothing at all that can be done other than to make her as comfortable as possible...

Terrible, terrible situation...

Pietro and Fiona have been our neighbours since we moved here in 1987...

So sad...

Paradoxically, our garden was buzzing with life...
