Friday once again and the Berlin trip is into its final weekend...
Weather top, as usual...
No Schokochino this morning for breakfast, instead, coffee and croissants at the Hauptbahnhof...
We were finally heading to Potsdam after a couple of postponements...

We'd be arriving before 10am...

Some confusion over how to get to Sanssoucci - eventually, we were on a bus...

Having been here three (four in Anne's case) before, we decided to head back to the town and then go in search of new sights...
Through the Brandenburg Gate...
As Anne headed off to ships she likes, I found my fave - moved to new, larger premises...
The man in the green T Shirt is the rather unhelpful and grumpy owner...
Some items were bought - just 10 of your European Euros for the lot, including a couple of apt collections...
Outside, sorting them out, a wee beastie landed on my leg and was recorded for posterity...
No purchases for Anne though...
Time for lunch...
Top filled rolls...
The intelligent crows were out and about...
Then, onto a bus to a new to us Potsdam destination...
...where the conference of 1945 was held to carve up post war Germany...
Facilities utilised, pre a walk around the environs...
And then, onward to the Meierei Brewery...

As it clouded over, we watched the peep hens on the lake...
And then, downpour...
It soon passed and we noted this chick, separated from its parents...
...who had swum off without it...
I think it found its way back to them in the end...
Loads of wee sparrows were also fluttering around our table...
Time to head back...
We waited an age for a bus and then it got stuck in a long traffic jam...
So, we jumped off and, instead, walked back to the town...
Hopefully these handballers made their game on time...
To the Dutch Quarter...
...on the look out for coffee and cake...
We were here on our last visit but it was full today (and Anne is not a big fan of cheesecake)...
And so Lekker Koffie was our venue of choice...
...before heading to the bus stop and back to the station...
...for the journey back to Berlin...
...and to the hotel for a rest...
...before going out again for the evening, to the sister restaurant of the pizza place from the other night - this time pasta was on the agenda...
As in the other place, interesting old pics on the walls...
Here it is - as you can see, rain had followed us back from Potsdam...
A tram back to Kastanienalle and Morgenrot for a nightcap...
White wine for the lady...
...and home...
I ended the night by researching a 50CD box set which was in the fave shop (with only 47 CDs in the box) - it was going for 8 Euros - why didn't I buy it...
Found it on e-bay for around 75 Euros and was able to source the content...
Decided to head back tomorrow to see if it was still there...

Highlight of the Day : Discovering new parts of Potsdam - ok being back in the fave Book/CD/Record shop...
