Absolutely last day of the trip...

Up at 6:30...

...for the bus to the S-Bahn...

...back to the airport...

By this time, I was quite ill, with some bug or other...

Our flight to Gatwick was on time...

Take off, 10:35...

...landing 95 minutes later...

...and into the airport for a very long wait indeed...

It should have been five hours from touch down to take off - but our plane was delayed by an hour...

And so, six hours, during which I was "very ill" indeed...

Take off at 5:21 pm...

Two lovies behind us - a young man in make up heading to Edinburgh to review some comedy and a middle aged literary agent...

As you might expect, the chat was awful...

Did I mention I was ill...

Landed an hour later...

...and out...

Airport bus and a 26 and down the hill...

Home at 7:15...

The trip took six and a half times as long as it ought to have...

Straight to bed...

Ill...

Good to be home after a long adventure...

And now (1 September), it's take 18 days to finally write up the seventeen of the trip...

Glad that's done...
