Down a Genesis rabbit hole first thing re their performance at Knebworth in 1978...
Searched around for it, only to find I already have it...
It's not the full thing though (which I recorded on my old mono cassette player with mic on the actual night, almost 46 years ago)...
Anyway...
Today, after some mucking about and with Anne off to sit in her mum's old apartment waiting for the photographer re selling it, I was off into town for a lunch and to do some work...
These, the soundtrack...
Some work done then, out with chum Luke along to the Gleneagles Townhouse Hotel on St Andrew Square, an ex-bank...
...for chat about economics around the world and some top notch nosh in its courtyard...
Smoked Duck Breast with Picked Grape & Chicory followed by Roast Chicken with Sweetcorn, Mushroom & Harissa and rounded off with Salted Chocolate & Almond Ganache with Raspberries plus fed wine and coffee...
Then, to the top floor for one more drink, these the views...
Back to the office for more work then the bus home soundtracked by my new LP out tomorrow, at which point the CBQ/Ed Sheeran Venn Diagram kicks in - I wonder if anyone will notice...
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift fans are in town prepping for her three nights at Murrayfield, which start tomorrow - the Merch stalls are open and people are shelling out already...
As I walked down from the terminus, I was joined by Fang...
I nearly let him into the house, forgetting we have Luna staying...
Remembering just in time, goodies were dished out on the front step...
Poor wee Fang...
In...
Laptop reliability continues to be unbelievably high...
Surely it can't last...
Some "Monk" as ever...
And, we started "The Marvelous Mrs Maisel" which includes Mr Monk in the cast - promising...
Highlight of the Day : Lunch out...
