Saturday!

Luna was, of course, up...

..and ready for biscuits...

She's always ready for biscuits...

Weekend!

Coffee and then to work...

On what?  Well, writing this on Sunday, I don't exactly recall but I know I was listening to my last "Disquietmusik" album and enjoying it...

At 10:20 or so, out and down the hill with Anne and a bus along to Roseburn for this at 11...

A very good indeed young quartet...

Dylan, Audrey, Micheala and Jasmine...

...and a most enjoyable concert...

Over the road, Taylor Swift was about to embark on her second Edinburgh show...

Having now watched a few videos I'm glad I didn't bother trying to get tickets..

One of those ones where fellow audients are singing along with such gusto that you can't actually hear the performer...

Hmmm...

And, no doubt, if I had gotten a seat, it would have been very far away, or, even, at the side BEHIND the stage...

I wonder how much the people inside the circle I've drawn paid for their tickets...

So, anyway, out of the church....

...and down to the greasy spoon for lunch, then, back up to Anne's mum's new place...

The ladies were off to enjoy a film ("Potter" re Beatrix Potter - Mary slept through it, Anne enjoyed it and it sounded good when the story was relayed to me)...

I headed...

..into town - an X18 to Shandwick Place, then, a 44 to the East End of Princes St...

...and through St Andrew Square Gardens...

A tram to the top of Leith Walk, a walk down Broughton St and a No 19 to Canonmills...

Into the wee charity shop there and found a reasonable box set...

A 23 back to Princes St...

...and a 26 home - with Taylor Swift fans, all trying to out do each other on the outlandish clothing front...

70 minutes all told from Canonmills to home, where Luna was contemplating going along to see Ms Swift tonight...

Today's purchase...

Apparently it's supposedly one of the worst recordings of Chopin's music ever committed to disc...

I thought it sounded just fine - but what do I know...

You can read about Ernest Hall here - a very interesting character indeed - still alive - around the same age as my mum...

Anne was not feeling too great this evening so I cooked for myself...

Prawn tagliatelle...

Yum..

"Dr Who" enjoyed - even though it was, perhaps, just a smidgen too "gay"...

Some "Monk" too...

At 8, to ripping and writing this up...

...and enjoying my own private Tay Tay concert by playing all the tracks from the setlist (well not quite all of them, there are rather a lot - will continue at some pint down the line)...

To bed around midnight...

Highlight of the Day : Out and about...
