A day of work and dance...

Up...

Music-wise, most of the soundtrack comprised forthcoming CBQ works, starting with this...

I think I prefer the yellow cover to the current blue cover...

Anyway...

Biscuits given...

Washing done...

Diary updated...

Breakfast enjoyed...

Down the hill...

Work...

Lunch - using an offer re my phone to save £9 on this - to be fair, it's not even worth £9 let alone the £8 I paid...

It was nice though...

Back to work...

At 5, a meet with Anne and a bus up to Newington...

Some pakora from Kebab Mahal, drinks at the Brass Monkey...

...and then, to this...

Views as we waited...

...for this...

Turns out it was the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Festival Theatre...

We did not have a gold star on our seats re winning a bottle of champange...

Oh well...

Ballet Black's new show, "Heroes", was superb...

Two pieces...

Sophie Laplane's "If At First"...

...was followed by Mthuthuzeli November's "The Waiting Game", the latter involving glittery costumes in its second half...

I am always amazed by what these young people are able to do with their bodies - synchronised too for much of the time - quite wonderful to watch...

I will, of course, over the next few days, try, to no avail, to identify the music which accompanied each work - all I know for sure is that the first piece included excerpts from Beethoven's "Eroica" Symphony (No 3)...

Anyway, bus home and walk down the hill in the gathering gloom, to home...

...where Luna had been on her ownsome all day, and so was pampered before lights out time...

...which soon came...

Highlight of the Day : Ballet...
