Finishing off the prep of the CDs this morning, adding calling cards and performance element lists and all 10 CD track listings to each package...
...and this QR code will take people to my music...
Breakfast and then, my first rehearsal since November...
I remembered how to do it!
Which was good...
This afternoon, out to my mum's to meet with her Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist (plus student) to discuss changes to be made to the set up in her house to allow her to come home...
I took the opportunity, before they arrived, to make some copies of pics from mum's haphazard collection - many of these I have no recollection of ever having seen before...
I think one of these may well be her Uncle Bill as a boy...
...and again...
...and as a teenager?
Here he is on the right as I remember him - a lovely man...
And my mum's Aunt Elsie - a German lady met by Bill on his commercial travels...
She was the most glamourous person we'd ever met as children...
Here with her beloved wee dog, Suzie...
No-one left alive knows who the other couple is...
Elsie looking slightly less glamourous than above...
Anne's mum has Aunt Elsie's old high glasses, often used at family get togethers for drinks back in the day...
And then, my mum and dad, before children, holidaying at their beloved North Berwick - were my dad's ashes were spread in 2003 and where sister Pam joined him in 2011...
They liked a game of tennis!
Presumably, pre match...
Interesting pose Dad!
Showed all these to my mum later at the hospital - she had no idea who the other young lady is in this...
She's also in this - it's possible the other two are our "uncle" Denny and "aunt" Edith (both my parents were single children so I have no real aunts, uncles or cousins)...
And now, Sheila and I enter the picture...
That's me in the pram...
Mum, Sheila and me...
No 38 rang no bells but it turns out this is the house in Clarkston where I spent my first seven months or so on the planet...
At the park...
Sheila looking imposing on the see saw - the young boy to her left waiting patiently on his turn...
My Grandma, me and Sheila...
Grandma looking as happy as I always remember her...
In 1973 I played her Alice Cooper's "Billion Dollar Babies" and she advised she liked it - good enough for me!
13 years earlier, I resembled the character on the cover...
Sheila with two wee friends - me in the background...
Quite probably my first bike...
Of course there was a cutting re sister Pam as "Queen" of Loanhead - this is very probably the thing in her life of which my mum is most proud - which, to be frank, is a little bit annoying at times LOL...
And now, into the 80s (I think) and mum and dad's Spanish trips...
He would not thank me for posting these but I love him so it's ok...
Pretty sure mum cannot now replicate this manoeuvre...
Or this one...
Or even this one...
This one? She's fine with...
I have no idea where these were taken but I wasn't there...
Mum and Pam...
Mum and Sheila...
Sisters...
These were perhaps taken slightly earlier, again no idea of the location...
...and then, some mid eighties japing around in the house, with historical views...
Ah, the good old days, when there was some grass in the garden...
Sheila, badly hung over (in her own house) after another night of drink and drugs - probably....
No stupid big trucks parked on the grass in those days...
Your correspondent...
..and his Exec Producer...
The then latest car...
A "B" registration was new in 1984...
Oooh, mum likes that...
Me pointing at my dad's face to annoy him...
On other occasions, I would draw on his face or head with felt pen...
The old front door...
Finally, a couple of more recent ones of mum, post the imposition of the supremely ugly salmon coloured suite LOL...
After the discussions with the health team and noting what needs to be done (table and chairs removed, rug removed, electric chair moved etc etc), it was off to the hospital (via Tesco's Costa for a toastie) to tell her the good news...
She was less than happy but what else is there to do if she's to get home?
Masterstroke by Annie re the tea tonight of adding poached egg and asparagus to the salmon...
Oh yes...
Later, TV comprised "Taskmaster: Champion of Champions", "Silent Witness" pt 2 and "Vera", pre dishes, listening and bed...
A reasonable day...
Highlight of the Day : Old photos...

Fantastic pictures David. You look so much like your dad, as you've probably been told many times before.
Sorry to hear about your mum, hope she gets home safely.
