Up before 7 and, in the main, two things done today...
But, first, some pictures...

I deleted the folder of songs sent to Johnny B as they just weren't up to scratch...
I spent the entire morning listening to various Capital Models sessions...
What's disheartening is this...
I auditioned quite literally 100s of recordings to get the best versions I could of the 42 songs John needs to learn...
In my folder there are 74 band sessions (2017 2, 2018 11, 2019 11, 2020 7, 2021 13, 2022 14, 2023 15 (7 w/ Vassia), 2024 1, so far) with over 1,700 renditions of the songs, lasting over 100 hours...
However, there is very probably not one single recording out of those 1,700, on which no one makes any errors...
Anyway, eventually I had one version of each of the songs which wasn't too bad, error wise..
And I had the thought that I really ought to source the "best" version of each song and provide that to the guys as a reference until such times as we happen to record a better played version...
I also compiled a list of the number of times each of the, so far, 110 songs we've played since 2017...
The question must be asked - how can you have played a song over 40, 50 or eve 60 times and still not be getting it right??
