Up early and the Capital Models Anthology released to Bandcamp...

This enjoyed with breakfast...

At one point, the Exec Producer was even singing along to "Callingstill"...

A triumph!

Anne was off to Zumba - a call with Prog Rock Willie - he cannot make Spock's Beard tomorrow...

I sent him this pic of my work station - he could not believe I've been standing all day for nearly 10 years...

A tidier pic also sent - along with 12 new things into his Dropbox...

The rest of the morning spent on Capital Models...

(a) rejigging the running order of the Anthology to simulate a possible live gig scenario...

(b) identifying a few still missing lyrics for a couple of these 44 yar old songs, and...

(c) playing all 24 of the songs on my acoustic - adding back The Who's "Substitute" - the only one of our then repertoire never to be recorded...

I do hope the band will play all these eventually...

In the afternoon over to my mum's house to pick up some things then to the hospital...

A call last night from sister Sheila had indicated mum was on her last legs...

As ever, over dramatic reaction from my sister re doctor chat...

Mum was chipper and even managed to record a "Happy Birthday" video for Lockie, who turned 6 today...

OK, her eventual release back into the wild has been put back sightly but the content of her care package is now on the wall (complete with spelling and content errors of course!)...

Home for a reasonably quick turnaround...

And, just before 6, out and down the hill...

To the White Lady for drinks...

...before a further walk, along to Prana to celebrate Anne's upcoming birthday...

The amuse bouches disappeared before they could be recorded but comprised spicy vol au vents...

More drinks for the tail section!

My starter was superb - gunpowder potatoes - luckily Anne spotted my halfway through the dish unused sauce on the far side of the plate, obscured by the paper...

Tasty Indian scallops for Annie...

The main course comprised Chicken Kadai for Anne, a hot vegetable curry for me, a side of Dahl, pilau rice and a plain naan...

Yowsah!

Bill paid...

...and a walk back up the hill...

..and back home...

...for some late night telly, including a "Leverage" pre bed...

So tired tonight that no music accompanied my retiral...

Highlight of the Day : Celebratory Indian...
