Up...

... and to work...

...on the Blue Sun Chasing piece...

Four things created and sent to him...

Then, out with Anne to B&Q for bird food and Aldi for a few things - I'd also wanted to buy some more paint re the new piece waiting in the attic but was thwarted...

Another day...

On our return, tasty home made soup for lunch...

We watched "An American in Paris", recorded yesterday - but had to rely on the plot entry on Wikipedia to find out what happened in the final hour as our recording did not take account of a split in the film to show The News...

There is far too much "The News" on TV...

More work on the new thing...

...it came to nothing - as is sometimes the case...

But I have a couple of ideas to work with...

Anne was keeping an eye on Hearts away at Livingston...

Lucky that a goal for the home team was chalked off by VAR...

Eventually, after missing a penalty, they went two up before Livi pulled one back with a late penalty...

Anne happy with the win...

No games in Queens' league...

This evening, "Leverage"...

And Michael Portillo's "Andalucia", in Cadiz and Jerez, which spurred me on to open my Port...

...and look up the difference between Port and Sherry...

The former is fortified half way through the fermentation process and so is sweeter and fuller bodied, the latter is fortified at the end of the process and so is drier...

The Port was lovely...

Found the annual jazz poll run by Twitterchum Tom Hull and I had 27 of the top 50...

The link gives a gateway into a veritable plethora of top notch jazz...

By close of play, I had all the rest I could find, taking my total up to 41...

Yowsah...

Then the return of a favourite "What We Do In the Shadows"...

A good end to the second day of the year...

Highlight of the Day : What We Do In the Shadows...
