Hmmm... Tuesday...

Sent MP3s to Johnny B to start the process of integrating him further into Capital Models...

There are 42 songs in our repertoire which he's not yet played...

I just chose the latest recording of each and WeTransferred a folder to him...

However, on listening to what I'd sent, I found horrendous errors all over the place...

Hmmm...

Meanwhile, the squirrel was enjoying himself at the birds' expense...

This evening, my Whatsapp to the band...

"An observation this evening.

I've sent some songs to John B to familiarise himself pre learning sessions - not necessarily the "best" versions but the latest recordings I have of each of the songs in question - which has meant listening back (...).

Brown Eyed, Suspicious, Rhinestone, Ruby, Bad Moon Rising, Folsom Prison, Blue Suede Shoes, Cracklin' Rosie, Daydream Believer, Big Yellow Taxi - all (...) standards (for us anyway) and Rockin' in the Free World - all riddled with horrendous errors.

(...) by comparison, the 10 track "showcase" CD I did for the Balerno guy and have provided to Whistlebinkies, which was taken from the self same (...) performance, featuring our then Velvets, Eno, Roxy & Bowie repertoire, somehow sounds reasonably top notch.

Weird..."

Anyway, day over...

Highlight of the Day : Listening back to yesterday's work...
