Up very early...

Loads to do...

Which included, at 8am, releasing the new LP...

Then, breakfast with Anne...

Yum...

Today's random LP...

118/313 Fehlfarben “33 Tage in Ketten” (Welt, 1981)...

2nd of the three original early 80s LPs by the band who we finally saw live in 2018 in Berlin...

No Peter Hein on this but it’s still a Neue Deutsche Welle cracker...

Bought in Germany 2/12/81 for £3 (£11.28). Still love it...

Meanwhile, a box of doublers and triplers from the attic.....

Mostly these are not really doublers or triplers, merely different "editions" of the same album - where the most recent is kept in the main body of the collection...

So much superceding has taken place by the likes of Heep, Yes, Crimso, Roxy, ELP, the Velvets, Bowie, Eno, Mott, Hawkwind etc etc...

In the early evening, I came to the conclusion that, when push comes to shove, this is probably my favourite Frippertronics album...

Fished it out as I noticed there was a longer version of "1988" on a compilation album I have - turns out to have been miscredited, as the track is actually "1985" - a simple error I suppose...

Meanwhile, Anne was creating a Karalan Coconut Curry...

..I do like coriander...

Which was followed by a couple of "Chuck"s to take us to the end of Season 4 - just 13 episodes to go now...

Aargh!

Then, to compiling, recording the links for and putting together, tomorrow's podcast...

...which will, of course, close with the closing track from "Beethoven"...

A Fopp token was received in the mail - tomorrow may be another Record Store Day...

And a couple of multi disc classical things were ordered using some of the intake from "Beethoven" and other CBQ stuff purchased by people around the world today...

Which was good...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Releasing a a new LP...
