And, again, Max Richter as the first listen of the day...

Under good skies...

The beast was about its business...

Mid week...

Time changes the sky...

Later, what's this?

An early visit from Fang, even before WFH had started...

Catching up again on the random LP front...

Found some promo shots inside this Alice Cooper album...

He's been away for 3 years - which was a huge amount of time back in 1986...

Of course nowadays even the most run of the mill bands take years to release their next LP...

This one was better than I remembered...

Then this from the two guys who were Sparks' main backing band in the early 80s...

Not exactly the most glowing reference from the Maels - tongue in cheek of course..

I prefer this Stephen Hague produced album to the other, later one I have by them...

Then, the postie arrived with a quartet of goodies....

Cake - including the song that became the theme tune for "Chuck"...

A 3CD set from the Emersons of, as the title suggests, mostly Haydn - the 3rd disc features one movement each from a selection of 8 quartets...

...and the second album in the space of a few days from Chk Chk Chk...

Funky...

Finally, a tasty 6CD box of Les Arts Florissants - I have a 3CD set celebrating 10 years, from 1989 - this is from just over a decade ago, celebrating 30 years of the ensemble...

Beautiful stuff...

Anne had been out for a slap up lunch with Lynn to the French Institute so I made my own concoction for tea - an onion, some carrots, some peas, some tomato puree and a little bit of parmesan over the top...

Not bad...

Ripping and listening continued into the night, as did the WFH...

Highlight of the Day : Arrival of the postie...
