Up and listening to recently downloaded ersatz prog by Yes soundalikes Fragile and Pink Floyd soundalikes Telegraph...

The view...

Uh oh...

A ted and a recording device...

A good cat pic today...

The sun was not out...

Coffee was good...

The art station awaits the implementation of the next work...

Today's classical piece was the recently arrived violin concerto by Beethoven...

..while today's random record was...

...Nina Hagen...

This was looked at again...

Breakfast was good...

In the post two tuneless contemporary classical discs on Wergo...

The very dab...

Early evening, I wandered around the back room choosing a couple of discs to play...

..and gave my mum a call...

She's doing ok but we could have a bingo card re the chat to be honest...

She had a message for the Twitter "Keep smiling through, as Vera Lynn once sang - she's 103 don't you know"...

She also told me a bout a documentary she'd watched on Cliff Richard celebrating his 60 years of performing..

I reminded my mum that my own musical "career" is now in its 43rd year...

"Is it that long since you formed your wee band?" she retorted...

Thankfully, I was called for tea of tempura chicken and salad with a chilli sauce...

Later, I set about choosing twenty discs at random, with a view to those plus a few Eurovision things being this week's podcast...

The random number generator was applied to the two red books of CDs I own...

Choosing the page, the column and the entry...

And then, the results were listened to and, indeed, entertained...

Creeker Stu sent through some old pics...

The box in the dining room puts this episode at September 1998 - as do the CDs Creeker Craig is looking so pleased about...

I could not find them tonight but here are some others...

I have no recollection of this computer but I think it's the one we used to have in the shop - which we'd shut around 5 months earlier...

...and used some of the self made hi-fi holding fittings in the house...

Obviously, this was pre head shaving days...

..and Crispy the Kitten was still alive - 14 years old at this stage and looking good...

Teddy looked out the window last thing and remembered his days of occasionally attracting the attention of Crispy the Kitten...

Good times...

Highlight of the Day : A reminder that my hair was not very good...
