Breakfast in the dining room...

I always feel pretty good first thing and then go downhill mid-morning - weird...

This morning, recorded and uploaded the Albums of the Year podcast for 1970...

...and that for 1971...

In the afternoon, another walk...

Chum Moira had alerted me to a short film re the simple making of scones - which seemed, well, simple...

Will try the scones, but add the 1/2 the lemonade first. Looked so good on the video. Try Mary Berry, but involves rubbing in butter with your fingers. Messy!

I did use a knife initially (you can see it in the first of the two pictures of the bowl) but, because the mixture was so runny, eventually I capitulated and used a wooden spoon. The very thought of these scones now makes me ill!!
