A trip outside this morning by car with Anne into town to say hello to some chums I've not seen for a good number of weeks now...

Enjoyable but tiring...

On our return, this was behind the door - one of several low cost purchases made over the last week or so...

A great selection of pieces from the pens of Abe, Shostakovich, Messiaen, Britten, Weir, Martinů, Howells, Prokofiev, Penderecki, Cage, Ireland, Volans, Martin, Schnittke, Tavener, Crumb and Górecki... 

More work on the latest stupid project - to compile a huge compilation of one hit single from every month from May 1959 to now...

By the end of today, I was up to 2004...

Ventured out for a quick (or, rather, a not so quick) 10 minute walk...

Oh to be able to do this again...

Anne went over to Fife for a meal with some colleagues.leaving me to my own devices...

I worked on the project and she returned around 9 or so...

Enjoyed "Big Bang" and "Graham Norton" before retiring...
