...Copland 3 - this second actually a 2CD set, which also includes Mr C's Clarinet concerto and a further six works...

Also arriving were two 2CD sets ordered on Monday - superb service from Selections on Amazon's market place for just 99p each...

Spain's Antonio Soler's harpsichord Sonatas - his is a fascinating story...

...and 17th and 18th Centiry trumpet music from Vienna composed by Fux, Querfurth, Albrechtsberger, Reutter, Schmelzer & Tuma...

Despite their arrival, spent much of the morning compiling (similar to yesterday's 70's project) decade (or more) long sets of hit singles from May 1959- December 1969 and January 1980 to December 1989...

A call from chum Moira and good chat was followed this afternoon by a very welcome visit from old chum Jim Park, who brought gifts...

...and more excellent chat - we compared notes re his brush with the reaper last year re his poisoned leg and my own re the gangrenous gallbladder...

Oh how we laughed...

The Exec Producer gave him a lift home on her way to Zumba, her sore back having taken an upturn...

I managed not to take very many painkillers today - hopefully that won't have been a mistake...

In the evening, listening to the new arrivals pre Anne's return, post which pizza was enjoyed along with "Masterchef", "Cuffs" and "Holby"...

Lights out - with half the normal intake of painkillers...
