Up early and adding CDs purchased in 1992 to iTunes - ripping those not already present...

Also putting together some Miles Davis music for brother-in-law Keith for tomorrow...

Around 11:45, chum Lesley arrived for a visit...

She brought a copy of The Beano...

She brought fudge...

She brought colouring pens...

She brought her younger son, Jack...

...who was impressed with my CD collection, although a little worried I wouldn't be able to pick a favourite or, indeed, find a disc I might be looking for...

He liked my collection of phone covers...

...and noted...

...that one must be missing, predicting correctly that there must be a red one on my phone...

That's better...

Of course he soon got bored and wanted to go home...

...but wasn't allowed to until I'd had a shot of his rather jaunty hat...

In the afternoon, Anne went to Tynecastle to watch Hearts impressive run of form continue with a 2-0 win over Hamilton, while, in Dumfries, Queens managed a hard fought 1-0 win over Dumbarton...

All was good...

Another visit for an hour or so during these games from chums Lynn and Ross, who brought grapes, biscuits and a rabbit based get well soon card...

A good natter was enjoyed...

Shortly after they departed, Anne returned and a tasty red Thai chicken curry was concocted from scratch by the maestro...

Yum...

"Strictly", "Dr Who", and the last ever (and fairly poor it must be said) "CSI" (from the Tivo) all entertained to one degree or another...

A quick write up of this and off to bed with painkillers vainly attempting to mask the ongoing pain...

Highlight of the day : Visitors...
