Started off the day by adding some older Crispycat recordings to my iTunes - and giving them a wee listen too...
A visit for a few enjoyable hours by Creek buddy Stu Cobley - he likes Blue Note don't you know...

We enjoyed some excellent chat and some varied listening and he also came armed with a couple of slices of very tasty apple strudel...

After lunch, I watched the first part of the David Gilmour documentary I'd caught the end of the other evening...
I enjoyed it, despite others' criticisms of the film-making...
After listening to DG's last two solo albums I retired downstairs with the intention of watching ELP at Montreux in 1997 for the first time...
However, the DVD box was holding the disc just a little too tightly...
Disaster...
Rather disappointed, watched some Youtube videos of them in their heyday instead...
Late afternoon, I compiled a decade long set of discs featuring just one hit single from each month from January 1970 to December 1979 - and it was good...
In the evening, some telly and some more listening...
An OK day all told, improved by a good visit from an old chum...
