Cold, pain, music, stroganoff, a bridge and a raven...

Playlist
Various - History of the Single 1959-2015
Various Composers - Die Trompete in Wien
Soler - Harpsichord Sonatas Vol 1
Ravi Shankar - Transmigration Macabre

A Saturday much of which was spent finishing off the "history of the single" project - I must admit that much of the last two or three years was created by creative downloading but it's finished - 57 years of music - 679 tracks (up to Bowie's "Blackstar" for this month) lasting 44 hours 21 minutes and 23 seconds all told...

Anne was out at Tynecastle this afternoon watching Hearts throw away 2 points in a 1-1 draw with Dundee - while, in Dumfries, Queens showed some resolve and came from behind twice to take a point from Falkirk...

Meanwhile, I ventured outside...

...for just fifteen minutes, defeated by pain and cold...

This, which arrived today, was my soundtrack...

In the evening, a superb Beef Stroganoff from the talented hands of the Exec Producer, was accompanied by "Strictly"...

Then, the last "Dr Who" for Clara Oswald - always a tearjerker when a companion leaves but doubly so when you know there's no way back for them - a million times better than last week's travesty - and the season finale is once again set up nicely...

The first two episodes of "The Bridge" were also enjoyed...

Some listening to the singles collection on shuffleplay whilst glancing at "Match of the Day"...

And Saturday was over...

Highlight of the Day : Stroganoff and Dr Who...
