A beautiful morning...

Not a great breakfast though, it must be said...

Out into the sun...

To the Number 1 tram...

Which, today...

...took us all the way to Delft for just a couple of Euros deduction from our OV Chipkaarts...

This was a beautiful little town...

More peep-hens were spotted, nest-building on the canal...

We just ambled around, taking in the sights...

Before heading up this tower for even better views...

365 steps...

...but very much worth the effort...

Back down...

The Spotify of its time...

Tough on 56 year old knees...

..and back out at ground level...

Lunch...

...at old favourite of our Dutch visits, Bagels & Beans...

...followed by more walking around...

Record shops were found and purchases were made...

Pots were pictured with a view to potential back garden replication...

An inviting square tempted post a fruitless search for desired jewellery..

More wandering...

...and more record shops...

I do like a stroopwaffel...

..and Anne likes a waffle not of the stroop variety...

Final wandering...

Time for coffee at this great wee place, t'Koetshuys aka het Labyrint...

...before taking the tram back to The Hague...

...and our temporary home...

New purchases were sampled...

Another good day...

And, of course, back home, the election took place...

As soon as the exit poll was announced, we knew all the previous polls had been wrong...

Which was good...

Except for Scotland - so many people with wool having been pulled over their eyes - oh well, not to worry - the economics have not suddenly changed...

Highlight of the Day : Delft...

I am astounded by the amount of things you have done Before Lunch!! Not in my lifestyle. Look what I've been missing. Looks great.
