Up early, lurgi still clinging on...
Weekly playlist No 44 recorded and posted up...
Out just after 8am and into the sun...
A walk to Jane and Bobby's...
...in less time than usual - it seems I am getting used to walking...
A short drive to Helen the podiatrist's place...
Good chat as always and in and out in less than 30 mins...
Breakfast provisions procured on the way home - excellent bran-based bread and a croissant for the EP...
Meanwhile, a visitor...
Rory Custard...
Breakfast at home...
Today, these were not engaged with...
More work on bringing the playlists up to date - posting up on Mixcloud, the missing episodes but still work to be done re timestamping, graphics, notes etc etc...
This is how I waste my time...
Out in the afternoon - noting the flower from the other day...
...has been joined by more late bloomers...
To my mum's for a surprise visit, given we won't make it tomorrow due to rehearsals...
In fine fettle - although having to say everything twice is becoming tedious in the extreme!
"How are your eyes doing mum?"
"Ten to Three"
Into town and a quick meet up with Count Brodski and Malcolm Logan - three quarters of Crazy Wisdom reunited over a couple of drinks - we never officially split up, much the same as Creek...
Somewhat mysteriously, the count has availed himself of a tambourine...
Malcolm's 12 year old son Ruaridh is now at Edinburgh Music School studying drums and guitar - despite disabilities - an inspiration - earlier today he was to be found drumming on a cover of the Average White Band's classic "Pick Up the Pieces"...
Home for a quick turnaround and then back to Jane and Bobby's for an evening babysitting nephew Olly...
A 2005 Eccleston episode of "Dr Who" was followed by tonight's first part of the "season finale", as the hyperbole is wont to call such things these days...
Not bad but not great either...
We'll see next week...
Fireworks were upsetting Rafa the Dog - I could not live with such loud barking - notwithstanding his innocence re matters...
Some considerable time spent clearing out downloaded nonsense from Olly's laptop and adding new security software...
Jane and Bobby returned from their party around 11:30...
Home around midnight...
Lights out...
Highlight of the Day : Meeting up with old chums...

Hi David, I've been wanting to catch up with Malcolm for ages... Do you have a contact for him ? Btw, I've been repairing classic vintage synths if you ever need one sorted or your looking for a Korg PolySix... Hope to hear from you ! Cheers - Tony (Ice Station Zebra)
Hi Tony - Some good memories of Ice Station Zebra back in the early nineties - can it really be over 20 years since we did "Death junkie"?
Will see if I can get in touch with malcolm and will post again here if I can
Cheers!
Hi David - good to hear from you. What wah pedal did you use for Crowned Themselves ... It was a pretty tasty sound. My website btw is www.resynthed.com.
All the best ! T
