Finally coming together, kind of...

Playlist
David Bowie - The Complete Singles Collection 1964-2014
David Bowie - Nothing Has Changed
Capital Models - Rehearsal Tapes

Up early and compiled a full collection of David Bowie's 50 years of singles, from "Liza Jane" in 1964, through to "Sue" in 2014...

Over 120 tracks and some eight and a half hours of music...

This is how I waste my time...

To Keith's for 10:30 for a rearranged rehearsal due to Andy's Sunday afternoon commitments...

Although the session was too short to play every song, we did manage all but eight - and addressed a few problem moments successfully...

Probably the best we've done so far and, with 13 days to go, it's finally coming together...

Kind of...

The Three Musketeers...

Back home just after one to start editing the tapes to upload to Dropbox for Andy and to burn to CDs for Keith for them also to know where we are thus far...

At three, to my mum's in Loanhead, soundtracked by Mr Bowie's latest official collection...

Anne was less than impressed with the new "jazzy" single...

To paraphrase "it's one of those songs where everyone's playing a different tune from everyone else"...

Hmmm, sounds like me, Keith and Andy...

Mum was reading on our arrival...

Today, the project was to take down old, broken blinds and to install these new ones...

Sister Sheila, whose hands are to the right here, was project leader...

"Strictly - The Results" was watched with the ladies - McBusted impressed, while Shirley Bassey, like much of the programme, was annoyingly talked over...

Meanwhile, our second Chinese takeaway in two days means some serious climbing back on to the wagon is required...

Back home for some nice coffee...

...more Bowie...

..and more editing and uploading...

Meanwhile the other, less good-looking for his age David's beard is coming along...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : The band starting to come good...
