Capital Models - Live 29 November 2014
The Butterfield Blues Band - East West
Various - Songs of the Week 2014
November away...
Beard away too, back to normal, up early...
...listening to last night with plenty of coffee...
Out late, for brunch...
Our first destination, in Corstorphine, was closed, on to Haymarket...
Our second destination was, once we took our order to the bar, facing a huge backlog of orders...
On to Broughton Street - no parking and few options...
We ended up at Morrisons supermarket in North Edinburgh...
...for a surpringly tasty effort at a very reasonable price...
Only the constant beeping of the check outs let it down and, even then, so what...
Home and two episodes of "Babylon" were enjoyed...
Then to Anne's mum's with Anne to allow the ladies to head to Tynecastle to witness the Jam Tarts getting humped by the 'tic in the cup 4-0 - the usual story- man sent off after 10 mins, penalty that wasn't a penalty to make it 2-0 early in the second half - all over - yesterday Queens went through 4-1 against Highland League leaders Brora Rangers - the first ever encounter between the teams...
Next Saturday Queens visit Tynecastle - I've not yet decided if I'll attend...
Back home for me, for more work on last night...
Then, later...
..to Loanhead to visit my mum...
The light was fading as I made my way over...
I played her some of the recording of the gig - "who's that singing, son?"
Erm...
Sister Sheila and Senior Wilson were also in attendance, the latter suggesting we get a young female singer in...
Ahem...
Back to Anne's mum's around 6 to take Anne home...
In the evening, more work on the tapes...
And some telly no doubt - can't recall...
To bed after watching the weekend's Scottish Cup highlights...
Highlight of the Day : Recordings from last night turning out not too bad...
