This morning, the Cloudland Blue mobile drove past me as I walked down Crispycat Hill...

I received a cheery wave from the Exec Producer...

At lunchtime a successful trip to the Festival Theatre for ballet tickets...

Front stalls secured...

Much improved weather today...

South Bridge...

The Castle from Lothian Road...

This evening, the Cloudland Blue mobile drove past me as I walked down from the top of Crispycat Hill...

I received a cheery wave from the Exec Producer...

In the evening some Shostakovich, while pasta was prepped...

Then, some reruns of "Big Bang" and, then, Scotland v England at your British Soccer...

The English were always favourites and sloppy defending allowed them three goals - while the "plucky" Scots managed one in response...

Reasonably disappointing given Scotland's recent form...

However, since we lost, we can point to the fact it was only a friendly...

Had we won though...

Enjoyed the Yes album from earlier this year during the second half, then continued my listening through the 15 recent classical acquisitions (five sampled today) with impressive discs of pieces by East German composer, Siegfried Thiele and of his countryman, Harald Weiss...

Ended the day with the new Bryan Ferry album...

A good night, despite the loss...

Highlight of the Day : Siegried Thiele...
