Up at 5:45 and to the computer...
Three hours later, I'd spent most of my time trying to get the studio software to work and, when that failed, I downloaded what I thought might be some useful software...
Instead I spent another considerable amount of time getting rid of unwanted software which made its way onto the machine with the stuff I'd wanted to download...
My one venture forth from the house was to obtain a couple of croissants to bring back for breakfast...
Listened to Eno's last album mixed with various lectures and interviews on the net whilst writing this up for yesterday...
In the afternoon, Anne watched 10 man Hearts come back from a penalty/sending off equaliser, to beat Aberdeen at home with a three minutes from the end goal...
In Hamilton, Queens went down 2-0 - after nine games, including a couple of friendlies, this was their first defeat of the season...
On Tuesday they beat Airdrie 2-0 in their defence of the Ramsden's Cup and, like last year, they have drawn The Rangers in the Quarter Finals - though, this year, the match will be at Palmerston...
And at Crispycat Towers, I spent my time working on a new version of the up for downloading but not really released new CBQ album, "Riverleaves"...
Finalised just before Anne arrived home...
The work comprised mostly finding the unedited original WAV files and then re-editing them and producing a twelve track album as opposed to the two cross-faded mixes currently available on Bandcamp...
This, the scene at thend of the session...
Some tidying...
And logging off after 12.5 hours...
A curry for tea and two episodes of "Scott & Bailey" and then another listen to the proposed mix and running order of the now individual tracks...
Hopefully the studio itself will be back up and running soon...
Lights out...
Highlight of the Day : Anne's delight at a good win for Hearts...
