Updating and refining the systems...

Another jazz disc purchased for £3 - Metheny and Coleman's 20th Anniversary reboot of their improv classic "Song X"...

Puts me in mind of Happy Apple, which it preceded of course...

And, in the post, "Chicago VII" from 1974 - an excellent jazzy, at times experimental album from the later purveyors of soft rock pap...

Good stuff...

Anne's new tasty prawn curry for tea...

It occurred to me that the external hard drive which appeared to have gone tits up a couple of weeks back may have merely been reacting to the imminent meltdown of the main PC...

...much like animals detect an earthquake...

So I dug it out, connected it up and waddayouknow? It's fine...

This now the set up...

Some time spent bringing it up to date (it's the one that holds all the rips which are on the jukeboxes)...

Meanwhile, Dr Prog called to advise Yes are playing in Glasgow next May - they will perform "The Yes Album", "Close to the Edge" and "Going for the One" in their entirety...

We will attend...

Anne advised Matthew Bourne's "Swan Lake" is coming to Edinburgh next April...

Again we will attend...

On telly, "New Girl" and "CSI"...

To bed...

Highlight of the Day : Prawn curry / Hard drive recovered...
