Up early as usual and, as is becoming usual, more work on the computer set up - downloading, installing, tweaking etc etc...

Where does the time go?  Into the computer set up that's where...

An arrangement to meet Dr Prog at the library...

Running late...

Garden looking good and a few seconds on the way out to record...

Arrived at the library around 20 minutes after the agreed time but the doc was sanguine about it, given it is usually he who is late...

Much browsing and muckking about...

I took two sets of Morton Feldman, some Paul Motion (with new like Bill Frisell on guitar), some Django Bates and the latest from Kiss...

Lunchtime...

Past Greyfriars...

..to Olly Bongo's Turkish cafe for coffee and wraps...

...and mucho chat - including the on again off again nature of the Crispycat system...

The Doc was then off for some art enjoyment on the last day of the Scottish Colourists Exhibition, while Anne and I walked down through the Grassmarket...

...and through the rain to Lovecrumbs for more coffee, and a wee sliver of cake...

More rain as we walked back to the car - reflected on the flowers on our arrival home...

To listening and ripping...

..and the keyboard brought from the attic re a music try-out visit tomorrow from Olly and Kitty, prospective piano learners...

The late afternoon was spent listening to music chosen from the collection by a relaxing Exec Producer...

Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton, Asia, Eagles, Lady Antebellum, Alice Cooper, The Tubes, Goodbye Mr McKenzie, Abba, Cry Cry Cry, David Bowie, Rush, John Wetton, Mathilde Santing, Pet Shop Boys, Ich und Ich, Chic, Stevie Wonder, Roger Waters, Japan, Lucy Kaplansky, Kiss, Laura Pausini, Herman Van Veen, City and Colour - to which I added a few more I thought she'd like - Bryan Adams, Craig Armstrong, Adrian Belew, The Blue Nile, Pink Floyd, John Cale, The Church, Justin Currie and Cockney Rebel...

Very enjoyable indeed...

In the evening, a tasty Indian and a superb French film starring Gerard Depardieu, "La Tete en Friche" (My Afternoons With Margueritte)...

Late on recreating this afternoon's session for CD for the car...

A good day...

Highlight of the Day : The Exec Producer choosing the music...
