To Fopp at lunchtime today and some jazz bargains obtained - 2CD sets by Brad Mehldau and Bill Frisell and another solo acoustic guitar disc by Pat Metheny...

Also stumbled across a couple of German discs by Andreas Dorau...

All at £3 each...

Back home, today's haul was completed by the arrival of the two recently ordered Gary Husband sets...

Upstairs to the new situation, to rip all this to the jukebox whilst giving it a listen...

Bill Frisell's takes on "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and "A Hard Rain A-Gonna Fall" were particularly satisfying discoveries...

And, of course, the Husband discs contain some new recordings of my fave, Allan Holdsworth...

So it's all good...

A tasty wee mix of live jazz tracks was enjoyed but not recorded...

On the Tivo the return of "Mock the Week" plus "Two Broke Girls" and the last of three of Jessica Stevenson's suffragettes comedy, whose name escapes me but which was rather good...
