Kind of live...

Playlist
Various - Last 100 Acquisitions
Capital Models - Kind of Live
Mike Taylor Quartet - Pendulum

Up at 5:30 and, after two days off, back to the covers set...

By around 11 am, I had "good" WAV files of each of the 44 songs on our two set lists...

Put together quasi-live albums of both for listening...

We will rehearse again on Monday (set 1) and Wednesday (set 2) next week...

At lunchtime, Jamie popped by and we listened to the music, marveling at Keith's drumming prowess, which really does make all the difference...

I told him I was still trying to think of a suitable name for our covers trio but he opined we ought to just call ourselves Capital Models since we were all in the band and represent 75% of its final line-up...

It's likely that 2013 will see the return of the band playing original material as opposed to covers...

We'll see...

Gave Jamie a 2CD set away with him, which saved me a journey to his place...

I took a trip into the attic and looked out an old bass amp not played for over twenty years - tomorrow I will find out if it still works...

Later, with the songs safely entered into the MP3 player for soundtracking and with QoS having had a man sent off after 2 minutes in their cup tie a way to Kilmarnock and going a goal down 8 minutes later, I walked down to Keith's...

...and popped a set of discs through his door...
Back home for "Michael Portillo's Great European Train Journeys" which was through Germany form Berlin to the Rhine...

We may do this too at some point...

Updating this while Annie watched "Strictly"...

Then "Merlin"...

Rounded the day off with episodes 5 and 6 of "The Killing III" and "Sportscene" featuring Queens losing to Kilmarnock...

Highlight of the Day : Visit from Jamie...
