And they called it puppy love...

Playlist
Kitty – Break the Ice Around Us
Cloudland Blue Quartet – Riverleaves
Capital Models – Covers Sets
Paul Desmond – First Place Again
Cloudland Blue Quartet – Riverleaves (long version)
Cloudland Blue Quartet – Aftersilence 1996-2011

Up at 7 and to the PC to work on Kitty’s song...

Four hours later I emerged with a three track, 10 minute EP with on-CD artwork and cover...

My lead vocal, Kitty’s lead vocal and a karaoke backing track...

Post breakfast, a rehearsal of the three sets to be played next Saturday at The Kilted Pig – my first run through since last Thursday – in the meantime, I’ve written and recorded a new instrumental album...

Not bad going...

Mistakes were fewer and farther between than the last live run through with Jamie and Keith...

Over to Jane and Bobby’s with Anne to meet their new wee “cockapoo” puppy, Rafa...

What a wee sweetie...

Back home for an episode of “Montalbano” which has languished on the Tivo since April...

The late night, the early rise and the lurgi did for me, causing snoring to be heard from my sofa prior to the denouement...

A tasty Indian takeaway accompanied the first part of the final of “Strictly Come Dancing” followed by the penultimate “Merlin”...

Only one more week to double the guard...

To the PC again to create the long version of “Riverleaves” for a proposed 2CD set – a 45 minute version and a 61 minute version...

Done and dusted...

“Strictly” came to an end, once again proving the lack of dance tech knowledge of the public at large...

Presents wrapped...

Updating this while listening back to the long version album...

Highlight of the Day : New song, new puppy, new album...
