For £600 to charity, he proudly donned a green mankini - green being the colour of arch-rivals Hibernian FC...

Later, a meal at The Living Room...

...before things went so downhill, worse for wear wise, that no further pictures were able to be taken once we got to The Standard, where your correspondent became Mr Gin the Gin Man from Gin City...

Home around 10:30 or so and, very shortly thereafter, snoring through Girls Aloud on Graham Norton...
