Out into the darkness...

...still on one crutch...

...it’s nearly Xmas...

...and, today, I started my Xmas shopping, which will continue until Xmas Eve – you can get some good things at a Petrol Station – flowers, briquettes...

An excellent afternoon spent with the Exec Producer...

Back home to find Herbie Hancock’s soundtrack to “Blow Up!” behind the door – the first of four CDs expected in the series described here a few days ago re sessions by members of the second great Miles Davis Quintet between 1963 and 1968...

Anne and Meg the Black Cat watched me fall asleep to this...

Too much Red Wine perhaps...

Later on, we cooked together for the first time in a wee while...

Linguine Carbonara from scratch...

Extremely tasty...

Music-wise, apart from Herbie and some film music on the Blue Note label, albums released this year soundtracked the day...

Mum advised over £700 was raised for the Marie Curie Hospice on Monday and Annie and I will deliver over £1,000 to them tomorrow...

Great stuff...

Highlight of the Day : Cooking with my lovely wife...
