A walk in the park

A day spent much of the time on the phone to various people at the hospital...

Pam has been given an appointment on Tuesday with a new consultant to whom her case has now been referred...

He is conducting a trial and Pam will be assessed to see if she is suitable to take part - if she is she can accept or decline the invitation...

Having read the details of the trial, there's a lot to be taken in and decided upon should she prove suitable...

If she isn't suitable or declines an invite, she will move to a different chemo, details of which will be provided on Tuesday...

So, in between these calls, we nipped to Tesco and bought some sea bass and vegetables for tea tonight...

And, in the afternoon, we returned to the woods and took a circular route...

...before taking the car over to Gadebridge, the area we'd been looking for on Sunday afternoon...

It was lovely...

...with many people walking their dogs...

We exited the park into Hemel Hempstead old town...

...and found a florist/coffee shop, which we sat outside with a hot chocolate and half a piece of cake each and watched the world go by...

Further along the street, we helped this wee cat across the road to the other side...

...and walked back on down through the town and back round into the park...

...and enjoyed a seat in this beautiful walled garden...

...before heading back to the car, via the bowling green...

Back home after two hours (with calls being taken on the mobile of course)...

Around 6:30, I cooked dinner...

I must confess though, instructions were mailed in from the Exec Producer in Edinburgh...

Very tasty indeed...

A welcome and entertaining visit from chum Anna was followed by some TV watching before retiring around 11...

Highlight of the Day : A walk in the park...
