Uptown on the bus with Annie as we visited the newly reopened National Museum of Scotland...

The views from the rooftop garden were impressive (unlike the weather)...
I think I preferred the museum prior to the revamp, although it’s quite impressive...
Another piece of the past disappears...
A light lunch at Vittoria’s on George IV Bridge...
...followed by coffee and cake directly opposite in the patisserie there...
A walk down through the Grassmarket and I took a look in Avalanche...
So depressing that there are so few record shops left in Edinburgh now – Avalanche has been open in its new location for around a year and it’s still an untidy mess really...
Needs sorting out...
Ogling guitars in the shop next door and interested in a WAV/MP3 recorder which might be handy for field recordings...
Home, via the building site - it's coming on...

On TV, Tivo’d “New Tricks”, live “Big Bang Theory” and last week’s Tivo’d “Torchwood” – still far too much padding...
